For example, as part of a team at the CDG Group, our Principal recently helped lead the successful turnaround of TLC Vision, a diversified eye-care provider and the second largest provider of corrective surgery in North America. Leveraging our proprietary management techniques and “Value Enhancement Toolkit”, we increased LTM EBITDA from $11 million to $29 million in just under 12 months and eventually returned 100 cents to Senior Creditors. The turnaround was honored at the M&A Advisor "Deals of the Decade" celebration, featured as part of the evening’s celebration recognizing the best of the best in leading transactions in the last decade. The engagement originally won the Small- Mid Market Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year Award, the Healthcare and Life Sciences Sector Award and the Small Market Turnaround of the Year Award.
